Anti-Ragging Committee – BHEEMA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE

BHEEMA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCES observes a zero tolerance attitude to ragging and maintains a strict Anti-ragging policy.

Objective: –

To create awareness among the students regarding the anti-ragging laws and policies and to encourage them to put their cumulative efforts to bring up a ragging free ambience.
To sensitize the student community towards developing empathy for the fresher students.

Responsibilities: –

To give wide publicity regarding anti-ragging laws and policies across the college campus.
To monitor the student activities and behavior during their first semester of every academic year.
To solicit affidavits from parents/guardians and students in case, any incident of ragging is brought to notice.
To conduct counseling sessions for senior students.
To conduct counseling sessions for incoming students at the time of admission and induction.
To prevent ragging by students in the institute by proactively engaging faculty members of discipline cell also.
To arrange an address by the local police authorities every year in order to highlight the ugly impacts of ragging activity and the punishable measures as laid down by Indian IPC.
